Please note that we have a minimum order requirement of $15.00.  Payment must be in U.S. funds, either by check drawn on a U.S. bank (which must accompany order), or by international money order (IMO).  Cash accepted at your own risk (we recommend registered mail.)  We cannot accept Eurocheques, etc., as we incur high conversion fees.  We also accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express charge cards.  Because this is not a secure (SSL) site, we recommend charge card information be split up and sent in two or three e-mails at different times, by FAX, or via regular mail.

We will accept purchase orders from recognized institutions such as Botanic Gardens and Universities; payment is expected within 30 days.   Unless payment is by credit card,  orders will be processed and held pending arrival of payment (not applicable to purchase orders).

We ship by airmail using padded mailers to protect seeds in transit.  Each envelope is labeled with the name of the seed and all relevant germination information.  As some items are in short supply, please list substitutes on the reverse of the order form (not necessary for charge orders — we will charge only available seeds).  It is to your benefit to list several substitutions because we always give extra value if substitution is necessary.  With every order we automatically include bonus seed to show our appreciation.  Because seed for certain species is scarce, we reserve the right to limit quantities.  If you have questions or problems, please write, fax or e-mail us.

We ship year round, but please be advised that during our travel months, roughly late April to late October, you may experience response delays of up to three or four weeks.  During our busy season, November to March, we usually ship orders in less than a week after receipt.  Prices listed are good until the next major update of the website (usually late October to mid-November).

My shipping and handling fees remain at $8.00 for U.S. addresses but shipments to Canada will now be $16.00. Registration fees where requested or neccessary are $16.50. Please be advised that we can no longer ship to most countries including the E.U. due to the requirement for a Phytosanitary Certificate which we do not provide.

Orders are accepted via regular mail on any piece of paper or letterhead, e-mail or FAX.  Please include your name and address, the items desired and the shipping charges ($8.00 U.S., $16.00 Canada.)  For charge card orders, also include the card number, the expiration date and the security number.  Always list the species name on your order, not just the collection number. In cases of multiple listings for the same species, please include the collection number so we can tell which collection you want.

Our seed will come true to name in the vast majority of cases.  If you are ever unhappy with our seeds, we will replace with new seed or an acceptable substitute. Our liability is limited to the original purchase price of the seed.  In no case will we be liable for the abuse or misuse of our seeds or any of its products.  For further information about stratification requirements, refer to our legend or Norm Deno’s book, Seed Germination Theory and Practice, for details on over 4000 species. Mr. Deno is no longer publishing his book but you may be able to find copies on the internet.
